Guided Hill Walks & Climbing
At Compass Rose we specialise in arranging days, weekends and longer journeys to allow individuals, friends and groups to discover our beautiful landscape, heritage and experience adventure in safe and informative environment.
Small groups allow for the opportunity to coach navigation and hill craft. By encouraging full participation accompanied by a qualified mountain leader confidence can be built up for further trips with or without an instructor to the uplands of Great Britain.

- Accompanied Hill Walking in Mountains and Uplands of Great Britain.
- Rock Climbing and Abseiling.

All itineraries are tailored to the clients’ objectives and to maximise their enjoyment and achievement of the day.
Staff
As a qualified mountain leader and climbing instructor I have over twelve years experience of leading groups in the mountains and uplands of Great Britain. During this time I have worked for Outward Bound, gained membership of the Mountain Leader Training Association, managed an outdoor education centre in the Peak District and volunteered as a member of a busy Cumbrian Mountain Rescue Team.
